I began my career as a professional photographer working in the medium format aided by the instruction and mentorship of Tobechi Tobechukwu. I was taught wedding photography by Elaine Studley and have assisted photographers Hyon Smith, Lora J, and Nicole Wolf.
It is through this fascinating craft that I have met many extraordinary and talented people throughout my 15 year career. I find it thrilling that the next assignment is always a mystery and I’ve never been let down by the endless possibilities when its time to go to work. A low stress shooter, I prefer to simply let my subjects be themselves. This allows my clients to be completely relaxed with the end result being an honest image.
A frequent contributor to Baltimore CityPaper, my photographic works have also been published in The Baltimore Sun, Sun Magazine, DC Magazine, Urbanite, XXL, Beautiful Decay, and The New York Times.
